Due to the visible societal impact of air taxi, the success of this new technology is highly dependent on the public's opinion.

SKY-1 was founded to facilitate public acceptance and social integration of flying car technology in modern society. SKY-1 aims to promote flying car technology by organising yearly racing championships at a student and professional level. Such events open the opportunity for the public to gain interest and awareness in flying cars while driving innovation further.
