UCO value
Used Cooking Oil (UCO) has not been utilized and mostly disposed after it is no longer used. It creates problem of water contamination, water piping system clogging, and soil quality reduction. Research shows that for 1 litre of UCO can contaminate up to 1,000 litres of water environment. Research also shows that average person will produces 0.65 litres of UCO every month. Imagine that for 150,000 people of Enschede will produce 97,500 litres of UCO and potentially harm 97,500,000 litres of water environment. On the brighter side, UCO still has value and can be converted into biodiesel (for diesel engine) and soap (for equipment cleaning purpose).
Make technology platform to collect UCO (from restaurants, apartment, hotel, households) then convert it as Biodiesel and/or Soap.
